The World's Greatest
Romantic Music: Recital & Lecture: The program
includes the story behind Valentine's Day; stories about the love interest
of some of the composers and what inspired their love songs; and features
some of the greatest Romantic Classical music ever written, such as
"Moonlight Sonata", by Beethoven; "None But The Lonely Heart", by
Tchaikovsky; "Liebestraum" by Liszt; "Clair De Lune" by Debussy; and much,
much, more!
Swan Lake Ballet:
Recital & Lecture: Mr. Watson will perform selections from the music of
the Swan Lake Ballet by Tchaikovsky. In addition, Mr. Watson will tell the
story of each scene, provide interesting commentary about how the ballet
was created and some history, and some interesting insights about
Tchaikovsky and what he went through to create his work.
Inspiration:
Recital & Lecture: Mr. Watson will talk about inspiration and how some
composers were inspired to write their music. Interesting anecdotes on the
composers will also be included. Did you know that Liszt was the Elvis of
his time, and that Chopin's little dog helped him write a waltz?
Eastern European Composers:
Recital & Lecture: Mr. Watson performing works by Eastern European
composers. Mr. Watson will speak about his Polish background and some
Polish history as well as his travels to Poland. He will also discuss his
experiences and performances at Chopin's homestead in Zelazowa Wola,
Poland
Recital:
Mr. Watson performing music of Chopin, Schumann,
Rachmaninoff, Scriabin, Debussy and Watson.

Watson will perform selections from the music of the Nutcracker Suite by Tchakovsky. In addition, Mr. Watson will tell the story of each scene,
provide interesting commentary about how the ballet was created and some
history, and some interesting insights about Tchaikovsky and what he went
